My art work(some of all)

This is a collaboration with videographer Kyo-Cinema.

We tried to search for the beauty of the 4 seasons in Japan.

Kokuten (黒点） is the artist unit with Me Mayu Shirai "dancer" and live drawing artist ”nuee".

We always improvised and experimented, this is the experimental theater in Osaka.

The video is the edited version of performance Blue, held on April 29th, 30th at studio port Mina ,in Osaka port Japan.This is Mayu Shirai's first solo dance performance.

Self-produced performance.

I, Mayu Shirai dance on the rooftop of Live art bar Magayura to platform of Noda Station, Osaka Japan.This is the project for Mayu to encourage the people in platform who go work or go school. In Japan, We do not see street performers much, and people are not get used to see the public performance.
 

I joined the short stay creator program of creativepowergarage101 in Namegawa city, Saitama Japan in2022.

In this stay, I searched the atmosphere and the texture in country side in Japan. There are many rice fields and ponds in Namekawa city. I biked all day and tried to feel and experience the environment there. I hope you feel japanese summer humid through this video.

I stayed in the artist residence Unpack Stuido, Havana ,while I stayed there, I met artist Aimee Suzara, we collaborated and created the video.

 Choreographed and performed in NYC by Mayu Shirai and Hsuan Hsiu. We joined a Series of Site-Specific Dances performance “All over westbeth” in 2016.

I joined Fertile Green at Green Space in NY, This is my first performance I directed in NYC.
